08D/07N- NORTHERN VIETNAM CYCLING WITH HALONG BAY
Urban Hanoi retains its strong French colonial flavour, the lovely lakes is a great contrast with the labyrinth of alleys in Old Hanoi and arts is also seeing a renaissance in the Vietnamese capital. A drive away, Halong Bay boasts spectacular Cycling in the Northwest highlands of Mai Chau is a great way to see this fascinating and visually stunning part of Vietnam, offering both physical activity and the unique opportunity to observe a way of life that has changed little over the centuries. As we cycle, we encounter Muong and White Thai inhabitants and are guests in their traditional stilt houses allowing us to see firsthand how these minority peoples live. Our modern lightweight European bikes make exploring this part of the country an enjoyable and relatively easy experience and there is a support vehicle on hand if necessary.
 Detail Itinerary

DAY 01 ARRIVAL/HANOI

Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Tour begins with the Vietnam History Museum (closed Mondays & Fridays) followed by Hoan Kiem Lake. Then, take a rickshaw ride through the alleys of the Old Quarter.

DAY 02 HANOI / HOA BINH (76KM) (Breakfast, lunch, dinner included)

This morning, cycle out of Hanoi and head for Hoa Binh town. Along the way, stop at the Van Phuc silk village, approximately 12km southwest of the capital.
