DAY 01 Arrival HANOI
Welcome to Hanoi, we will meet and take you to your hotel, check-in and today is free at your leisure to rest or explore, discovering your own first impressions of Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 02 HANOI CITY TOUR (Breakfast & Lunch included)
Good morning, Vietnam! Enjoy the romantic flower market and take a stroll around the beautiful Hoan Kiem (Turtle) lake and see the locals doing their morning tai chi and aerobics. Thereafter, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (open in the morning only and closed Mondays & Fridays), his Former Residence and the Temple of Literature – the first University in Vietnam and the capital of Vietnam about 1000 years ago. Then, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the alleys of the Old Quarter to experience the bustling local lifestyle. Tonight, be treated to a water puppet show, a performing art unique to Vietnam
DAY 03 HANOI / HALONG BAY
This morning, drive about 3 hours through rustic Vietnamese countryside to Halong Bay, one of the 5 UNESCO World Heritage sites. With hundreds of giant limestone peaks jutting out of the water of the Bay of Tonkins – it’s indeed an impressive sight. Board your private traditional junk (or shared junkboat) and start cruising on the bay. After a sumptuous seafood lunch, your family can explore the caves, swim in the cool tranquil waters or choose to kayak! As the sun wanes, enjoy the spectacular sunset as the boat meanders among the islands, fjords and inlets. Night-fishing waits as the night falls. (Breakfast, lunch & dinner included)
DAY 04 HALONG BAY / HANOI / DA NANG (Breakfast & Lunch included)
Wake up to enjoy the morning crisp air and see the daylight filtering through the mist and the towering rock formations. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and continue cruising the bay before we drive back to Hanoi in the afternoon and transfer to the airport. # VN 317 1500/1615.
Upon arrival in Da Nang, be met and transfer to your beach resort by the South China Sea.
